先週遂にリリースされたYkiki Beatの1st Album『When the World is Wide』。その冒頭を飾る楽曲「The Running」のミュージック・ビデオが本日公開となりました。
ミュージック・ビデオの監督・編集はYkiki Beatのアーティスト写真他、American Apparelなどの広告写真も手掛けるフォトグラファーMitch Nakanoによるもの。

若手注目モデルのSakura Maya Michiki、Laura Ribeiroを起用し、The Runningの楽曲がもつクリアーな印象、歌詞を締める“We were running at the edge”というフレーズに込められた若さや葛藤、そのせめぎあいを美しく映し出した映像作品となっている。
