香港のシューゲイズ / ドリームポップ・バンド、Lucid Expressが2月20日にニューアルバム『Instant Comfort』から「Faux Sweetness」が先行リリースされた。

「Faux Sweetness」はドリームポップ系統のサウンドを軸に不協和音からエレクトロニックなサウンドまでを取り込んだLucid Expressにとっても新しいスタイルのシューゲイズに。
Lucid Expressは前作『Lucid Express』をリリースして以降、ヘッドラインのアメリカツアーを成功させ、〈LEVITATION〉、〈SLIDE AWAY〉、〈Clockenflap〉といった数々のフェスティバルにも出演。アジアのバンドとして欧米で、The Pains of Being Pure at Heart、Letting Up Despite Great Faults 、Nothing、Her New Knife など共演を果たしてきた。『Instant Comfort』はそのような経験を詰め込んだLucid Express の新章を告げるアルバムに仕上がっている。
